Max (Jason Marsden) is finally heading off to college. Along with his friends Bobby Zimmeruski (Pauly Shore) and P. J. (Rob Paulsen). Max attempts to win the X-Games. Unfortunately his father, Goofy, (Bill Farmer) loses his job and can't get a new one without another year of college. Goofy decides to go to school with his son. To get rid of his father he suggests he joins a frat and introduces him to the school librarian. As tensions rise throughout the conflict. A test begins to see if the father-son bond is strong enough to keep them together.
