Q.  I think I have set up everything correctly, but the return address prints about 1 1/2 inches from the left of the envelope.  Can this be adjusted?

A.  The problem is a setting in the printer setup feature in the program.  Just click on Options from the Main Screen Menu system, then Printer Settings/Options.  In the middle of the screen, there is an option for Env. Direction.  You need to click on Inverted - Upside down/InkJet.  This is the way the Envelope is fed into your printer.  Normally this is the case if you have an InkJet Printer.  Check this first before contacting support.


Q. I have just upgraded to version 3.xx from 2.6, is there a way to transfer my old data?

A.  Yes, just run the data conversion program from 2.60 to 3.xx.  This can be obtained from our web site at www.starre.com/utilities.html.  

Download and install the program into the default folder, and be sure to
close the Star Envelope Printer Pro program.  Then click on Start, Programs, Star Envelope Printer Pro, Utilities, then click on Convert Data.  This will ask you where the data resides.  If you took the defaults during the installation of the Envelope Printer Pro software, they should be in the folder \backup.
